Where's the best place to eat Christmas (day) dinner in Edinburgh?

I will be in Edinburgh on Christmas Day and am looking for a nice, not too expensive (at least under 45 pounds per person) to eat Christmas dinner or lunch.

The Royal Ettrick Hotel is doing lunch and so is the Hunters Tryst
They are both really nice places for food! There are loads more places doing xmas dinners, just do a search online - I only recommended these places as I live near them and go often. Hope you find somewhere nice!

My Mums. I don't think you'll find any hotels or restaurants open on Christmas day. Sorry.

Try the Caledonian Hilton,it is open but may be slightly more expensive than 拢45. There are plenty of Hotels open on Christmas Day and the best people to ask are the Tourist Information, however you will have to book early as many people like to eat out at Christmas.
