I am going to the Galapagos Islands soon and I want to know if I should take a certain tour or boat tour or something...

If you are a diver, get yourself a liveaboard. Its the only way to go. if not.. There is still a lot to see on every island.. penguins, crabs, dolphins. marine iguanas. It costs $100.00 US to get into the Galapagos and you have to pay it in cash. The research station at Darwin is good.. Too bad lonesome George died, however, The blue footed boobies. the frigate birds, the cacti, the lava.. every island is diff. and each have their own unique species. Try to get to as many as you can.

You should travel with no problems taxi is cheap and you could adventure better with you are doing it your self not with a tour ....have lots of fun .. we went to the glapagos and is fun we now moved to Costa Rica from California and we are having a ball .
have lots of fun and ejoy

Visit as many islands as you can as each has something interesting. Not all species of flora and fauna are on each island. On Isabela Island you'll find Galapagos Penguin, Fur Seal and Land Iguana among other wildlife. Floreana Island has Greater Flamingo, and more. Opuntia cactus is characteristic for Santa Fe Island. There are tortoise breeding programs on Santa Cruz Islands: you can see baby turtles there. Darwin Research Station on Santa Cruz Island has all the information for the turists about the Galapagos Islands, its endemic species, and how to care for them. The Islands are a wonder place for a bird watcher. The naturalist (your guide) havs great knowledge about the Galapagos ecosystems. Prepare for a great and educative trip! There are many travel agencies that will provide you with lots of information about the Galapagos vacations. My suggestion is that you read about the Galapagos first - library resources, travel videos, books, or content websites: that way you will get the most out of your trip. Cruise ships, yacht charters, or land trips, they all offer to visit many islands. Galapagos Islands, Ecuador, offer unforgetable vacations for everyone. ( I will be glad to answer more of your questions). Bon voyage!
