Could a US citizen go to school in Denmark without a Denmark citizenship?

Denmark has a free education system... can i get in on it

and

how good is their education... is a masters in Denmark as good as a masters in the United States?

A masters in Denmark usually takes a nominated 6 years (4 years for your bachelor degree and 2 years for your masters). A masters from one of the Danish universities should be as good as a masters from the US. All depending on what you are studying, there might be an emphasis of different areas of the education, which means that if you have a US degree and want to practise in Denmark, you'll need follow up courses and tests and vice versa.

The best way to find out would be to ask the universities in the US and in Denmark.

Unless you are a Danish citizen you cannot get in on the free education just like that, but there are student exchange programs.

To be accepted into a Danish university, you must have a certain grade-average from whatever school (high-school?) you go to before applying for university in the US.

Also, while the majority of books tend to be in English and the university accommodates to the foreign students (when I was in university the lessons were switched from Danish to English when two Spanish students joined the classes), it is an advantage to know Danish.

you could go t school there but without being a citizen you will not be able to recieve free education.
as for the degrees im not quite sure but as with most european countries a masters in theirs is not enough for a master's in the US.

I think free education is only for those Danish citizen

Yes you can go and attend universities but you need to pay for it I think 55,000 ddk per year plus your board and logging, food.

Yes education standards in Dk is very2 good in fact most of the Danish are genuis well u need to be a wide reader....
Self study is the best.....read and read and apply it in your dailylife

You can study abroad in Denmark, but it will not be free unless you're a Danish citizen, or the spouse of a Danish citizen residing in Denmark under the Family Reunification Act.

Depending on the degree itself, a MS in DK should remain the equivalent of a MS in the US.

Just adding that Danish citizens qualify for j"free" education, but education is not really "free"--it is paid for throughout your entire wage-earning life in the form of very high tax on every pay packet you receive. Same for health care--it's not "free"--it also comes out of every paycheck in the form of very high tax your entire wage-earning life in Denmark.

It is true that education is free in Denmark. But, you will have to pass exams in order to qualify for the free education.
