Playing guitar on the streets of Herning - Denmark?

Is it possible for me to earn money by playing guitar on the streets of Herning - DK?

(It is my start of 7th week here and l havent seen any police along the streets yet, so l figure that there won't be any problem ?)

To get a permit in order to play on streets is a new news to me!

When i used to live in Denmark in 80's, there wasn't such a law. At least that's what i remember!

I used to live in Aalborg, Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense and people used to play, mainly on "go gade's", train stations, etc.
Yes, you can surly make some money on the streets by playing music instrument.

Just you know, if caught by cops for not having permit, no worries. Their police officers are usually very calm and will give you a warning or something. As you've noticed, their cops have nothing to do, compare to north America. There's no crazy car chases or shooting, etc.

Good luck and i wish you make tones of cash!!

you would be a busker then?

It is obviously illegal to play in the streets without a permit.

A friend of mine visited stayed with me & my husband in Aarhus, and we got a permit for him to play his sach pibes in the streets. It was the middle of winter, and he made about 300 DKr for 2-3 hours.

So firstly, it is not that difficult to get a permit. They give you certain days and times that you are allowed to play the guitar.

And secondly, I think you can make quite a bit of money if you are good.

Sure.
