Are cruises boring ?

I am going on a cruises during spring break in florida soo my moms friend told her she got bored and theres nothing really to do soo is it? like and do we have to pay tips alot nd what can you do there?

like we are going to the Carribean for like 4 nights soo yea

There is plenty to do, if you get bored, you can only blame yourself. They have all sorts of activities going at all sorts of times. When you get on board you will be shocked and not know what to do first. It is fun just finding your way around the ship. There are shops to look in. Eat. Games to play. Pools to lay by and swim in. Eat some more. Shows to watch (don't miss these)! Gambling. Bingo. Movies. Don't forget to eat again. Get massages, facials, pedicure...The list goes on and on. You do have to tip, but this is done at the end of the cruise. Look up your cruise line on line, it will give info on what to expect to tip. It will probably give a list of activities to do while on the ship.

NO! the free ice cream and pizza alone should keep you occupied =). It really depends on what cruise you're going on. There may be pools, water slides, comedy shows, and other forms of entertainment.

I went on a cruise when i was 16 and it was boring especially at night. They didn't have a lot of stuff for us to do. You had to be 18 or older to see the shows or do karaoke. During the day was kind of boring as well. The only thing to do was swim and that was really crowded. When we stopped and was able to get off the the boat that was fun. but other then that i was board. idk about paying tips my parents payed for everything.

Maybe yes and maybe no. We enjoyed our first cruise and are ready to go on another one when we can afford it. I wouldn't mind going on a cruise to nowhere, because we can find enough to do on the ship to keep us occupied.

We enjoyed the shows most evenings. We went to a couple of art auctions that were held on the ship and enjoyed looking at the art. We enjoyed the exercise room and hot tub. There was a putt putt course on the upper deck that we did twice, the second time the ship was rolling a little too much for it. There was a casino on our ship, probably on most of them. On the ship we were on, the pools were too small for us to even try to swim in.

FOOD FOOD FOOD! There are a number of different places on board the ships to get a meal or a snack. The Dining room experience was very good with new foods to try, its already paid for, so experiment. If you don't like something you can always get something else. The employees on the ship are there to make your stay as pleasant as they can, and we enjoyed our servers in the dining room.

Be aware, there is a lifeboat drill as you leave port. So have your life jacket with you when it is time to leave port. The elevators are not working at that time.

You tip the guy that takes your bag, the usual is a dollar a bag.
Most of the on-board tips are done at the end of the trip if everything is put on a charge. Drinks and casino stuff we don't know about.

It helps to talk in depth to someone who has cruised before, expecially to the ports you are going to. There are things to sign up for at the different ports, and they cost extra.

Boring - NO. They have things for people of all ages every day. Once on the ship or in port you free to do whatever you want. Just be back to ship before it departs. Tips are taken from your onboard account. Which you can have adjusted. Tips for things from the bar appear on recipt. Been on 22 cruises & yet to be bored.

Cruises are soo muchg fun. There is a lot tod do. You need to tip, but i think its a fair amount. There are clubs, activitie, bars, lounges, and a bounch of other things. Your mom's friend is crazy if she thinks cruises are boring.

If you need to be "entertained" 24/7, then a cruise would probably be boring for you. If you can enjoy being able to just relax and not having to worry about cooking, cleaning, etc., meeting new people, trying new foods [anytime you want!], seeing new places, you'll love it.

Yes, you do have to pay tips, just as you do when you go out to eat at home. It's only about $10 per person per day - a trivial amount given the great service you get.

There's so much to do, you won't have time to do it all - just make sure you do allow some time to just relax.

No way, they are a blast I am going on my 4th cruise next month! Can't wait!

You will have a blast I promise.
