When does the summer SALE start in Madrid?

I would like to know when the Summer SALE on Clothing starts in the main shops and shopping malls in Madrid (Zara, El Corte Ingles, etc.)

mm.. I think it is about to start! Some shops already have 50% off but official sale I think it starts on the 1st of July. It could start earlier because, as you know, it all depends on how much they sold during the season, but I don't think that big stores and malls are starting it before July.

Officially the summer sales period (Las Rebajas de Verano) start on july first, and last until the end of august.... Not only in Madrid, but all over Spain.

Although if the spring season has not been too good you may find some sales have already begun in certain stores.

It's best to try and do the sales during the first week, or two at the most... after that the clothing is a bit "picked over".
