What is it like in Ohio?

I'm going to Cleveland, Ohio for a few weeks this summer and I was just curious to hear what it's like. I'm bi, so I was also wondering what the LGBT scene is like there? And what is there a teen can do?

cleveland is a miserable city, I don't think its a very active scene as what you look for, but a city is a city that scene is in any city just not in as great of numbers, not much to do there at all. But cedar point is very fun amusement park just a little southwest of cleveland in sandusky i recommend and to the person below me ny is way nicer then cleveland

quiet and cold

cleveland is like ny i think, kinda trashy in parts but nice in others. be careful tho. as far as the lgbt scene, its fairly decent and easy to find ppl to fool around with.

rock n roll hall of fame

go here
http://www.lgcsc.org/

I'm actually looking for stuff to do there tomorrow lol. Rock n Roll hall of fame is there, aswell as a hard rock cafe

I hear they are very polite drivers. Also they have ceramic geese on their lawns and dress them up when the holiday or seasons change.

The guy above me is horribly wrong. Cleveland is probably one of the best cities in the US (larger city). I live in Michigan right now, which IS miserable, and am moving to Medina, Ohio (somewhat by Cleveland) and love it in every single way better than MI. Cleveland is the exact opposite of my large cities. It is safe (for the most part) and the government doesn't sit around and do nothing. Have fun.

i live in hopeless cleveland. haa its okay i mean im sureyou'll enjoy yourself
checkout lakewood its about 5 minutes out of the city. they have many bars their you may be interested in. any other questions email me!

ohio has CEDAR POINT!!!!!!!!!!!

well it sure isnt nyc or LA but it is a great city. you no the people who put it down has no common sense because ya cleveland needs work but so does every other city in some way. any way u could go see and indians game or go shopping in playhouse square. or go shopping in tower city or go to the rock hall. there is the hard rock cafe and if you are able to get tickets go to cedar point in sandusky ohio! you will have the time of your life! as they always say.... CLEVELAND ROCKS! CLEVELAND ROCKS! haa

* The Metroparks are beautiful.
* The Cleveland Zoo is great.
* See a play at Playhouse Square. http://www.playhousesquare.com/
* Visit Geauga Lake http://wwk.geaugalake.com/index.cfm or Cedar Point is an hour away in Sandusky http://www.cedarpoint.com/
* There are always tons of festivals and fairs during the summer. The Cuyahoga County Fair is Aug. 4 - 10 this year.
* http://www.positivelycleveland.com/visit... has a good list of area summer festivals.

There are tons of things to do in the Cleveland area in the summer - shopping at malls and outlet malls, tons of places to play mini golf, Great Lakes Science Center. There's a good public transportation system to get around http://www.gcrta.org/

From what I hear Lakewood is the San Francisco of the east.

Congratulations. Try integrating.

1. Please refer to my rant on Cleveland if you want a good (but honest) laugh which you should find in my profile.
2. I was reading Nerfpally's response to your question and he may not read the papers on Cleveland's statistics....rated one of the worst crime-ridden cities in the nation, and the government does indeed sit around and do nothing. Part of the reason for the city's demise over the past decades is the politicians indisputable art of ignoring issues in order to fill their own endless pockets. He says he is moving to Medina...I live just north of Medina and will agree these areas are pretty nice as opposed to Cleveland "proper", but all in all compared to many other huge metropolises, this place blows ***.
You're coming in the summer, so you'll enjoy our 3-month-out-of-12 nice bearable weather.
Hope this helps............

Well idk what the LGBT scene is because I am straight. Cleveland is ok. Kinda scary in some parts. You have to be careful and keep your doors locked at all times. Cleveland is ok though its pretty much just a normal big city.

STAY AWAY, YEE BE WARNED

Yeah I heard Cleveland is a dump, but I hear Cincinnati is very nice.
