Looking for ideas on things to bring for the children

i go on mission trips to Juarez every month and we bring things for the kids a lot
they really appreciate clothes and toys
for Christmas we brought the children bags with toys in them like coloring books crayons pencils candy a shirt and some godly messages in them and they really liked them

Blankets ?? it's usually cold in Juarez... maybe in the month of January... The key word you have listed is "children" . they are not much different than children anywhere. Toy's would be good, god knows they normally receive alot of cloth's from churches in the US..... But, the very best thing would be educational type toys... or if your considering blankets (they have one possibly two month's of cold weather) then you really should consider swamp coolers or air conditioners.... cause in the summer (6-7 moth's) it can get really warm....
