To all new zealand immigrants? |
i'm thinking of moving to new zeand - maybe christchurch. i work in the hotel industry. i'd like to get some feedback from anyone who's moved there in recent years and either stayed or left to return home (i'm sure it doesn't work out for everyone). could you please tell me the best and worst things about the country, and employment there? thank you in advance for your replies :) NZ really is a beautiful country but after 35 years, I can't say I have found one true friend. People are very shallow You could look online at the major hotel chains and what jobs are on offer. NZ is now no different to other countries as far as personal safety etc is concerned - so take care. It uses traditional english as its language and a working holiday is a great way to see this country! |

I've actually heard a few stories of racism in Christchurch but also stories in Nelson, Auckland and everywhere else. You can't really escape it. It wouldn't stop me from moving to C...
