I would like to have some ideas about working in Christchurch. NZ? |
Hi! I'm from Philippines and is bound to Christchurch, NZ to study and work as a nurse. I would like to inquire what type of persons to expect there? How about the working conditions? Can someone tell about the actual price range of renting a flat there and is there any suggestions of what other things that are very important to bring? Thank you! Christchurch is such a beautiful city which I'm sure you'll like it very much. It does get really cold down in Christchurch, so bring alot of warm clothes with you. It has a hugh asian population as I think thats were majority of them migrate too when they arrive in NZ. You can rent a reasonable nice place from $200-$300 depending on how close to the city you want to be living. Our education is pretty awesome but I presonally don't think that our nurses get paid enough for the amount of work that they put in. |
