Where is the best place to visit in New Zealand? |
I just meet a friend in NZ and he lives in Christchurch, NZ. Is that the best place to visit? I might end up going there just because of him. ;) Snort - Red White and Blue has clearly never been to New Zealand! Crime is no more rampant in New Zealand than any other country - in fact, there is probably less crime than other countries. I invite Red White and Blue here for a visit to see for himself. chrischurch is wonderful. go explore auckland and wellington. youll never know what youre gonna get. Wellingoton is pretty sick. I like it here. My uncle and my cousins live in nelson, thats really good too. Chrsitchurch, never been there, but it looks good. crime is not rampant in nz lol .. if whoever said that is american then isnt that ironic.. I have to jump on Wellingtons bandwagon and say its the best place .. The best place by far is the west coast of the South Island. The diversity of scenery along the west coast is amazing - I've never come across anything like it anywhere else in the world. Over a few days you can see excellent beaches, rain-forests, lakes, glaciers, ghost towns, mining towns, adventure town (Queenstown), lush green country side and barren terrain. Hard to beat that! Make sure you go to Milford Sound - at least drive to the pub there and have a beer. If you like hiking then the Milford Sound trek is awesome as well. Christchurch is great, know where in nz is bad,it,s the best country in the world,These people that haven,t got any thing good to say most probably want leave there computer chair,The west coast is a good trip.only takes 3 hours to cross the pass.to Greymouth, and the people are so friendly,You would have good location to Queentown living in ch ch,You will have a ball, you go girl ,can I carry your bags, There are lots of places to go to in Nz...it depends on what you like....if its scenery then there are lots of amazing places around the place....the South Island is considered prettier for the most part with places like Queenstown popular, but I like the West Coast ( of the South Island) as its so pretty ( but not many people live there)...I have lived in Christchurch for many years on and off and really like it as a city. its close-ish to places you can go and visit eg west coast, kaikoura ( whale watching), southern alps etc etc. honestly you need to do some research as most of NZ is gorgeous! I am off there in a few weeks and even the drive home from the airport is gorgeous! Christchurch is a good hopping off place to lots of great country. yeah 'red white and blue' is full of ****. nz is very safe. I live in Christchurch and it is a wonderful place. Very nice and clean city and most people are very friendly and laid back. Christchurch also has many beautiful beaches and there is also plenty of opportunities to go on stunning walks around The Port Hills and Banks Peninsula. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from and the shopping is good by NZ standards. The climate is reasonably pleasant and we have great summers but the winters are horrible unfortunately. Christchurch has a very small population of only 330,000. Housing is great ranging from the most modest state house to the biggest mansion. Christchurch is also very well located with many brilliant things that you can reach quite quickly like: queenstown if ur an adrenalin junkie, arrowtown is so cute its set in the olden days. christchurch is pretty to but i was only there for 5 minites. the airport.... so you can get a ticket back home. crime is very rampant in new zealand |
