Staying at Great Lakes, IL? |
Am going to my BF graduation in March and I want to stay near the base. What are some good but affordable hotels close enough that I won't get lost trying to get there. Is there shuttles to the base or is it better to travel by train? The hotel needs to be near the train station. Thanks for your help. The Great Lakes Navy Lodge is just outside the base, check there first (although it's likely to fill up fast). |

There are two bars that are near each other downtown. If you don't like these, there are many more in this area. Reagle Beagle 160 E Grand Ave Chicago, IL 60610 Phone: (312) 755-9645 ... Yes, the school for the Art Institute and the Art Institute of Chicago itself are essentially across the street from one another (on Wabash and Michigan respectively.) ...NEW YORK ! ...they think they have cool sports teams, but they really bIow ...It is CRAPPY!!!! The weather is down right AWFUL!!!! It's cold and wet.... YUCK YUCK YUCK!!! I'm coming ur way, thank god!!! Oh April......hmmm it may not be as cold but it is still... I've only been to Chicago once, it was very nice. Stayed a week. Lots of shopping, great food, a museum too. Awesomeness. We drove though Detroit on the way to Windsor, stopped for gas. I re... It's mildly possible to find street parking if you're early enough, but you'll probably need to park in one of the many privately owned parking lots around the neighborhoods... just... No, and the reward is getting up higher and higher - I wish they would catch who did it - they don't deserve to be walking the streets. ... |
