What is the history of the Jews from Burgos, Spain?

In Burgos Spain there is the chapel of Corpus Christi contains the chest which the Cid is said to have filled with sand and subsequently pawned for a large sum to the credulous Jews of Burgos.

Also Judaism and Jews had been under constant and merciless attack in Burgos long before the wholesale massacres that drowned Spain.

Many Jews of Cordova, Spain, were massacred by the soldiers of Suleiman ibn Al-Hakim, 1013. While
Special privileges and immunities were granted to the Jews of Burgos, Spain, 1295.

The violence and forced conversions that afflicted Jewish communities throughout Spain in 1391 did not occur here. In fact, the Jews of Burgos relocated en masse in Segovia at that time, establishing the city's fifth synagogue.

There were about 120 Jewish communities, of which the following were the most important: Toledo, Hita, Almoguera, Burgos, Carrion, Avila, Medina del Campo, Valladolid, Cuenca, Huete, Atienza, Paredes de Nava, Logro帽o, Almazan, Soria, Villanueva, Ucles, Pancorbo, Sahagunt, Sepulveda, Olmedo, Murcia, Osma, Najera, Talavera, Villa Real, Guadalajara, Arevalo, Plasencia, Villa Diego, and Sant Estevan. Among the communities of lesser importance were the following: Maqueda, Briviesca, Alcar谩z, Calahorra, Aguilar, Ayllon, Belforado, Badajoz, Alcal谩, Zurita, Vitoria, Buitrago, Albelda, Pe帽afiel, Trujillo, Roa, Bejar, Miranda, Cea, Castiello, Lerma, Medina de Pomar, Olmeda, Pedraza, Alfaro, Fuendidue帽a, and Verlanga

Jews lived in the City of Burgos before the Inquisition that took place in 1492. They were all expelled along with the rest of the Jews from Spain.
