I would just go to the nearest bar/restaurant to my hotel/lodging anywhere in Spain. I always just have coffee and toast for breakfast, as any Spaniard would. However, if you're intent on a more substantial breakfast, or more atmosphere, Nesicha's suggestion of a 14th century castle sounds nice...almost makes me want to go to Burgos, just to see that. (Oh, yeah, and that magnificent Cathedral, too.)

Hey, Nesicha, is that a Parador? if not, what is the name? I'm going to have to put that on the itinerary for the next trip. You make it sound so delicious, I'm adding Burgos to my next dream trip. (just took one, it could be a few years...but we love to dream, 驴verdad?
