I'm 16 in july i live in cardiff what age will i be able to start drvivin lessons and that?

You can't start on road driving lessons until you have a provisional liscense and you can't have one of those until you turn 17!

There have, however, been talks of raising this age higher due to the rise of young idiot racers on the road, I dont know if this is going to come into force anytime soon..

they have also added more questions to the theory test you will have to take before practical test so I think they're becoming more strict

You can start driving lessons at any age, but only on private land. To be able to take to the roads, you need to be 17 years old. I don't know if you can take your Theory Test earlier than 17, but a good start is to learn your "Highway Code" in preparation, and a good computer disc available for loan or purchase at most Libraries is the "Hazard Perception" disc. This is an interactive driving skill lesson(s) for around 拢10
