What can i take through security next week at cardiff international airport??

can i take food and drink through?? and what things are cans and cants? please help im going next friday :)

uh yea theres a cardiff international...i live in cardiff...i would know! .....some people....honestly.... thats hardly an answer to my question n e way!!

must still be sealed - they usually will put your items in a clear bag with an airport sticker

no liquids bigger than 100ml in size and if you have any they need to be in a clear plastic bag.


drinks can be bought at duty free and what not an taken on the plane but not brought from home

Go on their website, or any airport website and it will state exactly what you can and can't carry through. You can get special bags to store in bits for the flight - pay attention to the info I had an expensive Clarins cream confiscated because it wasn't small enough to go into the bag you need. Happy hols.

Cardiff Calif. has no air port you have to go to San Diego International airport.

Don't take drinks or liqueds through they just cause hastle!!! Luckly once you are through sucurety there arl plenty or drinks you can bye in cardiff airport after sucurety, unless you are going to the USA.

No sharp objects, Lighters or other thinks like that!

I would not ware a belt as you have to take them of when you go through sucurety. Also try not to ware any metals as they will set of the sencor.

Also for thoes wo dont know about CIA it is Cardiff (The Capital city of Wales) in the UK

I flew from here last month. You can't take water through security but once through to departures you can buy water and other drinks and take them on the plane. Other liquids (make up, perfume, sun cream etc) must be in small containers in a clear bag. Best to pack these in suitcase I think. As others have said it's best to check the airport website. My daughter took her straighteners through in her hand luggage successfully but we saw a woman have an iron confiscated!
