I used Enterprise when I was in cardiff for 2 weeks at Xmas - great prices and they pick you up and drop you off if you need a lift.

If you just want a basic 7 seater (Vauxhaul Zafira) without much luggage room you will pay about 拢34 a day if you hire for a week. This will be for a low mileage car usually less than 6 months old and will include your insurance, all taxes, full breakdown cover and unlimited mileage. To get this rate you'll need to rent for 7 days or more.
You can get this rate through a broker (I work for http://www.carhire3000.com) for pickup in Cardiff with one of the big car rental companies, Avis or National. You might get cheaper through a small local firm but make sure you check the vehicle before you pay.
