Do Welsh people like being called British?

Do Welsh people like being called British?

No, most classify themselves as Welsh and that's it. If they have to fill in any forms, they will cross out 'British' and replace it with Welsh. They don't like to associate themselves with England or Britain in general.

"British" he doesn't mind ... "English" is a different story!!

Probabley not. Just saying this cause i'm English and i hate being classed as British, as this word is used to signify the english, welsh, scottish etc... as a group. I would defientley class myself as english before british.

Yes yes I love being called British and I'm welsh!,there is no such thing as being Scottish,English or Welsh we ARE BRTISH AND we live in Great Britian.
