There are quiet a few intresting places to visit in Cardiff. You have the bay where there are a lot of different activities for the children as well as adults. ...No idea why you cannot get a hotel in Cardiff that weekend unless there is a concert in the millenium Stadium or in Cardiff Castle. That is the only thing that I can think of that would be going... Rush hour traffic going into and out of Newport is pretty bad. I know because I've done it. Not only is is smack on top of the M4 but even the A roads going in get very busy. Caerleon is ... (It doesn't always rain here in Wales - it's just a myth!) ...There's quite a bit for both children and adults: Techniquest, situated in the bay it's a sicence fun interactive place for children to learn and try things out. Cardiff Castle C... Sounds about right, I would think it more close to 2 hours than 2 1/2, but it has been a few years since I have been there. It also depends on the time of day you are going, the M4 can be a nightm... The butcher in Cardiff Central Market sells white pudding.... try going to oneils for food as well ..the link ... |
