I have booked a holiday to cancun mexico for february will the sea be warm enough to swim in?

it is always warm doesnt matter the season

i was there last month and it was just a little too col for me then. Might be just a tad on the cool side still. Probably ok once you get in though

I would say if you are a northerner who lives in real winter, yes, you will probably find it warm enough. If you are from a place that does not really have cold winters, you might not find it warm enough. It really depends on what you are used to. It would certainly be warm enough for me.

Yes, Cancun water is not connected to the pacific ocean so it is not freezing cold. You should be fine!

We were on Cozumel (island just offshore of the Yucatan peninsula) Feb 2-9 and water was incredible. (both colorand temperature-wise) We did a LOT of snorkeling. Strangely enough, the water in the pool at the resort seemed colder. You will be fine.

Yes, I think you will be fine. The temp is in the 80's. Water temp should be around 72 degrees, very refreshing.
