What is there to do that isn't a tourist trap in Playa del Carmen? I鈥檝e been to Cancun and to the ruins.

We are staying at Adventura Palace, we went to cancun last year and stayed at the Cancun Palace. We went on the ruins trips. Although it had some interesting parts, it was not that great. I didn't like stopping at the tourist trap stops for a potty break Also they took us to another one of their resorts for lunch. It made me thankful we didn't book there at xpu ha. We felt trapped there and couldn't wait to leave. So, I am looking for someone who has been in my shoes and looks outside the box.

U can go 2 Xcaret or Xel Ha eco parks.

U can also go to the Aktun Chen cenote or to Crokocoon park.

U can visit other beaches like tulum, Puerto Morelos or Akumal.

U can take some diving lessons or go snorkeling.

U can take the pirate dinner in Cancun.

U can visit all the pubs and clubs along the 10th av.

U can do a visit to the city of M茅rida.

Or if u think ur gonna get bored ... y dont u better choose a different place 2 go....Chiapas and Oaxaca r nice places 2.

If you like to swim or snorkel, go to a cenote, some have caves that you can swim back into. There one close to Adventura Palace, called Two Eyes translation Dos "?"
