Where to go for spring break?!?

I'm trying to decide where to go for spring break in march with my roommate, She is 21 and i am 20. We were thinking cancun mexico, or the bahamas(would love to go to hawaii but its to expensive). My roommate doesnt drink and it's just the two of us so we thought cancun would be anoying with all the drunks running around and i never been to the bahams.. where should i go!! We were also thinking about going i n april on my 21st bday to cancun instead?!? HELP

ive never been to the bahamas but ive been to cancun and hawaii and i can honestly say that cancun has the better beach by far. Theres a lot of other sights to see such as Tulum or Chichinitza the mayan ruins. Or there are parks like Xcaret or Xelha where you can view tropical animal exhibits go snorkeling or see a traditional show. I went with my parents and younger sisters and the partyers werent really a problem because we didn't go to the clubs.
