And whats a good club to go to i'll be there sun-thur

we. stay at the Krystal...its at the top of the hotel zone...it. is within walking distance of all the fun stuff...gotta go to Senor Frogs...Coco Bongo..and its right on the beach

After doing numerous searches and comparing and contrasting hotels, I have stayed at the following and highly recommend:

Flamingo Resort-great food, beach and rooms, a bit older hotel but for the price it is perfect.

Bel Air Collection-the best kept secret in Cancun, maybe not anymore, secluded/private feeling beach, attentive staff and a gourmet restaurant with fair prices, it's a hidden gem.

Hilton Golf & Spa-a bit more expensive than the above two but with a surprisingly un-Hilton like feel and perfect beach.

NH Krystal-the only drawback is the beach is small and no balcony in the rooms, otherwise the location is within walking distance to the Party Center.

Ambiance Villas-large rooms that are clean and cheap, the widest beach in the best condition and a cute little restaurant on the beach with fantastic ceviche.

Presidente Intercontinental-next door to Ambiance Villas with an even better beach and pool area, food is amazing and with a small gym.

Last but not least, I think the Oasis is a bit expensive for what you are paying for. Get a Cancun travel guide and certainly do your research online. I hope this helps, have fun planning your vacation.

hola i work in cancun in marriot this place is very expensive, but there is 1 in the beginin to the hotel zone i don remember the name but is located in perlas beach is a small hotel is the most cheaper place to stay, i live in the downtown if i should somethin for u let me now,

I am not sure if cheap and nice can really be put in the same sentence but most of the least expensive are at the top of the 7 in the hotel zone.
The hotel zone is shaped like a "seven" and the top is in a bay area protected by Isla Mujeres so the water is calm where you can swim easily the long part of the seven is toward open ocean which means there are waves. There are also a few hotels on the lagoon which is across the street the "beaches".

Aquamarina Beach
Gran Costa Real
Oasis Palm Beach
Casa Maya
Maya Caribe

On the open ocean:
Flamingo Cancun
Gran Caribe Real
Barcelo Tucan
Oasis Cancun
Grand Oasis Cancun

These should be some of the least expensive in Cancun.
Google Cancun hotels and check them out.

we stayed at the Gran costa real(now owned by Barcelo)...The reviews for it seem awful but the place itself is total luxery,you will be treated like royalty,the food is amazing and it is on the beach,with 3 resturnats on the complex...it is within a bus ride distance of all the fun stuff...gotta go to Senor Frogs...Coco Bongo...the mall.X

I stayed at RIU Cancun in June 2007 and it was WONDERFUL! I am ready to go back.
