In order to get married in cancun, how many days must you be in the city?

I think 3 days...make sure its valid in the US or where ever your from.

you have to plan ahed, you need blood tests, prof that are single, , and to have the wedding you need money lots, is very expensive and at least five days, with all the requierments.

Three working days. So plan around weekends! My son just got married on Cozumel; they needed to be there 4 days ahead of time; if they had gotten married on the peninsula it would have been 3. Your wedding co-ordinator should know. If you are returning to the US bear in mind that a civil ceremony is the ONLY one that will be recognized. (not a religious/church one) You need to have passport, birth certificate, and also have your bloodwork done there. Sometimes documents must be translated, hence the need to arrive ahead of time.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR CIVIL OFFICE
- Home address and occupations (bride & groom)
- Birth certificates (Original or certified copy of each one. Valid passports (Although passports are not required for US citizens for entry into Mexico, they are mandatory for weddings)
- Original blood test (to determine blood type, HIV and STD). Tests must be taken at the resort and results are ready within 24 hours (Fee of approximately $50.00 per person applies) Original or certified copy of former spouse's death certificate (if applicable) Original divorce decree (if applicable)
- Legal documentation of adoption or name change (if applicable)
- Tourist ID (provided by customs upon your arrival at Cancun International Airport)
- Name, age, nationality, home address, occupation, driver鈥檚 licence or passport and tourist ID of 4 witnesses. Witnesses must arrive two (2) days prior to ceremony. If witnesses are not available, they can be provided (for a fee, ofcourse!)
- Bride and Groom must arrive to Cancun at least 3 working days prior to the wedding ceremony to meet with the wedding coordinator and submit all documents. Ceremony will not be performed unless all documents are in order. (no exceptions)
