Family resorts in Cancun, Mexico?

Anyone have any good recommendations for nice all-inclusive resorts in Cancun that a family of four with 2 kids 9 & 11 will enjoy for a reasonable price?

My huband and I have been to the Moon Palace and love it. We're just wondering if there are cheaper resorts that are just as nice. One thing we like about Palace Resorts are the free excursions.

You answered your own question...twice! You love the Moon Palace and the free excursions. Don't mess with a good thing. Cheaper sometimes will have you regretting your decision.

We stayed at Dreams Cancun in May and had a great time. They now have dolphins you can swim with on property. They also have a explorer's club for kids 3-12, that's included in your package price. They give you a beeper if you are needed.
The only draw back is the pool, it's small. If your children are big pool lovers then go back to Moon Palace, they have the best pool. The food and staff are excellent. The beach at Dreams are great for both the kids and adults. Check out this website.

Our group has set up and went to Cancun the first week of Jan. We let them handle everything Tour/Charter/Rooms with http://www.cancuncatamarans.com everytime.
These guys handle everything watersports,Car Rental, Room related as well as Private Charters. Call them. You will be impressed by Rob and Al 1-888-862-3806 Were are going back in 4 weeks again. They will handle everything for our family next trip.

Definately check out the GR Solaris which is a great hotel for a family with Kids, failing this the Royal Solaris or the Oasis Palm Beach, which now also has a kids club set up on site, with computers and all kinds of fun stuff.

The Moon Palace, and indeed all of the Palace Resorts are fantastic and you definately get what you pay for.... including the FREE Tours, which are actually hidden in the cost of the room.

It all depends on your Budget and whether you actually want to stay in Cancun itself or out on the Riviera Maya.
