It's a great hotel and the staff are very friendly. Everybody in the Hotel is over 23, and so it's great to get away from all the kids for a while... not that it's full of really OLD people.

The Food was good, beach and pool area were really good and clean.. so don't worry, you'll have a great time.

Need any tours etc, try to think ahead and book them before you leave home. There are plenty of companies with Toll Free Numbers, and everything is set before you arrive, giving you more time to relax.

I just got back from GOP a week long vacation with my boyfriend and we had a blast!! I was worried b/c I read a ton of bad reviews...but we had no complaints. Beach and pool were awesome. We had an ocean view with a huge comfy bed.There were a ton of stairs around the resort so as long as ok with that you will be all good. Just bring some singles and tip your bartenders and you will have great service. I didn't see too many single men/women.. I am not sure what you are going for(romantic or party scene) If its a romantic getaway you are good with GOP, for party you may want to try elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, we definitely partied...but we brought our own "sand to the beach" so to speak!
