Mexico Trip?

What is the best time to go to Mexico. I've heard that going in the spring that there might be hurricanes and it may be really hot. Is it better to go between Sep. and Dec.

The Atlantic hurricane season is officially from 1 June to 30 November. There is nothing magical in these dates, and hurricanes have occurred outside of these six months, but these dates were selected to encompass over 97% of tropical activity. June 1st has been the traditional start of the Atlantic hurricane season for decades. However, the end date has been slowly shifted outward, from October 31st to November 15th until its current date of November 30th.

Your biggest worry in spring is crowds of college kids on spring break!

I went mid to late September and it was great. I missed to tourist high season, so the place was practically empty. There's a slight chance of hurricanes, but i don't know when hurricane season starts. Also, i stayed at Dreams resort in Cancun, it was lovely! All inclusive, so food and drinks were free. I upgraded the room from the standard room, and a private beach came with it! Great experience.

Spring is NOT hurricane season.
Hurricane season is summer and the beginig of fall (autum).
In my opinion, the best time is August and September, the landscapes is more beautiful 'cause it is rain season.
