How is the life after the hurricane in Cancun? |
the beaches, animals, boys Everything is back to normal. The resorts have been either rebuilt or completely renovated. Some of the beaches are bigger and better and others are a bit smaller. Hi We were there the winter after the bad hurricanes. Most buildings had been repaired.. mostly what I noticed was the ravaged palm trees. Some were stumps.. some had fronds left, but not much more. Alot of the resort huts were ruined and repaired with better strategy for hurricanes.. so that they couldnt be ripped OFF from the wind,, they had a place for the wind to excape. If you are speaking of Hurricane Wilma that happened in October 2005. Everything is bigger and better. I was in Cancun with Wilma hit, and went back in November 07. Everything is newer and cleaner and the beaches are still amazing, some of the best in Mexico by far. If youre thinking of going, have a great time, you will be happy! |
