Oasis Cancun Phase Question?

Is there a way to chose which Phase you want to be in?

Firstly it will depend on the time of year you are visiting, as during Low Seasons they actually close either phase 1 or phase 2 to do maintenance work, so you may not have a choice.

Phase 3 is the Grand Oasis Pyramid (and so if you book the Grand Oasis that's the only way to get Phase 3).

If you are coming during a High Season, it will depend on what time you arrive at check in, but your travel agent should have already sorted that out for you, and advise you whether to check in at Phase 1 or Phase 2.

There is no real difference between phase 1 & phase 2 anyway, they are almost identical except for the restaurants. You have access to the same beach, gardens and pool areas, and can use the bars and restaurants in both phase 1 & phase 2.

Nice Choice of Hotel, it's very popular especially during Spring Break.

Tell them where you want to stay when you check in and be prepared to pay for an upgrade...

im confused what's all these phases at the oasis?
what is it and how does it work?

I stayed at Oasis Cancun (was supposed to be at Oasis Viva and they failed to tell us it was closed until we got down there)

The room they put us in was horrendous. 2 twin size beds, light fixtures and wires hanging out of the ceiling, dirty. This room was in the main building, and was a garden view, and phase 1. If you pay for an ocean front room, then you will be in phase 2.
