Can I fly from Toronto to cancun with out a pass port? I have my birth certificate and Drivers license.?

Passports have been required to fly from the U.S. or Canada to Mexico for over a year now. see website below for WHTI regulations...current info. See 2nd site for all passport application info.(Canadian).

I do believe if you're Canadian you can still go to Mexico without a passport. If you are flying from Toronto to Cancun non-stop, shouldn't be a problem. You can't stop & connect anywhere in the states unless you have a passport.
My daughter and I flew from Vancouver to Mazatlan last March. She didn't have a passport, so they accepted her birth certificate & drivers license.

I just checked the Entry Requirements for Mexico and it does say you must Have a passport if you're Canadian. This went into effect last January.
Wow. I guess I'm lucky they let my daughter in without one!
