Does anyone know a good and cheap hairdresser in Woden area , Canberra?

When you say "Woden area" - how far and wide do you define "area" or just the Woden Plaza and Phillip?

There are plenty of hairdressers in that area and the price pretty much on par with each other. In the plaza will be more expensive as the cost of putting a shop IN the plaza will make the price go up. There are a few in Philip - look up the yellow pages.
If you are looking simply for a haircut, then Just Cut is in the Plaza next to the Big W entrance.

Can't add much to Mouse's answer but there is also a mens hairdresser in the back of Roger David mens clothing shop in the Woden Plaza. If you go over to the Southlands shopping centre you will find another men's hairdresser.
