What is Brighton nightlife like?

I am thinking of going to university in Brighton next year and was wondering if someone could tell me a little information on the nightlife there.

Gay

FUN!

OH MY GOD ITS BLOODY AMAZING! Im at sussex uni! trust me u will love it Brighton is 1 of the best places ever, so much to do and clubs are brilliant. Got loads of different types of music loads of alternative stuff and then we have the usuals like oceanas po na nas and those big chain club types. also many quircky lil pubs and bars and things. Also the gay capital so has many amazing gay clubs which are always fun no matter what ur sexual orientation is. I would deffinaty recomend Brighton Im having the best time of my life here.

Its a mixture of everything there is the gay life which is massive but theres lots besides Brighton is one of the biggest nightlife centers outside of London, and all with in easy reach of the station.

Get to Brighton walk out the station and carry on down towards the sea, and your in paradise.

Brighton nightlife is excellent. If you're at Sussex university, just get a train from Falmer station and you'll be in the centre of Brighton in about 12 minutes. If you're at Brighton university, you will either be based at Moulsecoomb, Grand Parade, Falmer, or Eastbourne, depending on what you're studying. Moulsecoomb is 10 minutes on the train from Brighton. Grand Parade is about 5 minutes walk from the centre of Brighton. Eastbourne is much further away, but it has a pretty good nightlife of its own.
