Bristol to brighton uk?

hey, could any one tell me how many km from bristol to brighton or wat the nearest airport is to brighton please

im actually coming from ireland goin to brighton just wondering wat nearest airport to brighton would be

Firstly it is very simple to find out how far it is from Bristol to Brighton or to anywhere else come to that.

All you have to do is type AA Route into your browser (Google, Yahoo, whatever) and enter the two towns.

As far as flying is concerned, the nearest airstrip to Brighton is in Shoreham, about 6 miles along the coast.

However, this takes only small aircraft, usually up to 4 or 5 seaters and there is definitely no regular service to Bristol or anywhere else. You could always charter a small aircraft from Bristol to Shoreham but it would cost a lot of money.

The next airport is Gatwick, 26 miles north of Brighton and it's possible you can get a flight to there from Bristol. Pop into any travel agents, they'll tell you.

The nicest way to travel, and probably the cheapest but not the fastest, is by National Express coach, changing at Victoria in London.

The only other ways are by train or the cheapest of all - thumb a lift.

You cannot fly from Bristol to Brighton. Its about 150 miles and the best route is by First Great Western train from Bristol Temple Meads or Bristol Parkway changing at Reading and Gatwick Airport, or via London, taking the Underground or bus between Paddington Station and Victoria Station.
