Any suggestions for a decent, but cheap, hotel or B&B in Brighton?

Staying one Saturday night in November.

Lots of nice places along the sea front or near the Lanes, check with cheaptravel.com, they should have something.

How about sleeping on the beach?

There's a bunch of hotels, B&Bs and guest houses in Brighton but as with anywhere you normally get what you pay for! Try the website below, which in addition to the main hotel search page has a list of B&Bs too.. Personally, if you have the cash I'd stay at the Hotel du Vin which is really smart, Lansdowne Placa is a boutique hotel and cheaper, or for a budget stay then try the Hamptons..

I stayed at the Adelaide and loved it. Great rates in a great location. Includes a full breakfast too.

Hi - a good place to start looking for accommodation in Brigthon is by clicking http://www.enjoyengland.com/stay/searchr...

A number of our partners are running offers such as 3 for 2, 25 % off, and kids go free. Remember to ask for terms and conditions before booking.

Good luck!

Don't be daft!
Brighton is THE best resort in the UK, possibly in Europe.

There is no such thing there as cheap accommodation.
If you want cheap - go to Margate or Felixtowe.

Saying that, there is a way you can stay in Brighton for free.
I live just 5 miles east along the coast from Brighton. A few people camp on the cliff top but only for one night.
Most of these people are on pushbikes, some with trailers.

Others even sleep in their cars.
But if you want comfort - you're just going to have to do what everyone else does.
Either put your hand deep into your pocket - or stay away.
