The NIA and Birmingham International station are all part of the NEC. It's walking distance and all under cover.

If the train station your talking about is New Street then it will be a 10minute walk from the station. If it's birmingham international this is on the NEC site which is about 8-9 miles from the centre of the city. The NIA is in the centre not on the same site as the NEC, A taxi will probably cost about a tenner and will take 20-25 mins.

The NIA is very close to the City Centre and takes about 10 - 15 minutes. The main station is Birmingham New Street and is right in the City Centre. Depending on where you're travelling from, you can also go to Snow Hill station - again it is about 10 minutes or so to walk. Taxis are quite expensive, I don't know what the minimum fare is but I'd imagine you will have to pay 拢4.50 - 拢5.00 for a journey of a few minutes!

If you have mobility problems there are plenty of buses from the centre that go to Broad Street and these will drop you off within a couple of minutes walk. They're not really cheap, and will cost about 拢1.10 each way.

The National Indoor Arena is within a 5 - 10 min walk from Birmingham New Street. There are plenty of signposts to follow.
