Whats the ONE bar to go in Berlin?

I'm staying at the Best Western Mitte (wherever that is!) for 2 nights on buisness with a collegue and want somewhre cool to go to.

too many good bars!!!
in Berlin Mitte are already in a circle of 500 meters something like 150 bars and more.
it depends what you like, best is to ask somebody at the reception in your Hotel.
Oranienburger Street is not so far away, there are more bars you can discover in 2 days.

Tresor

business in Berlin? Berlin is run by communists ....

Don't ask this.....you know why ?
We have 30 000 Bars in Berlin and in Mitte there is a good one at every corner. You gonna have a blast.

WHITE TRASH FAST FOOD

Great bar, good music, crazy staff, best burgers.

When I used to live in Berlin, I went there pretty often.

I know the area around Best Western Hotel Mitte very well, because I work in that area.
There are of course many many great bars to go, and it's hard to recommend only one.
However, there are two nice options closely to the Best Western: First is BoeseBubenBar just one corner away (Marienstr. 18). It's not spectacular, but nice people, non-expensive drinks and good, mixed music. Something more special and some steps farther is the Bar 1000. It is hidden behind a door with no sign but an "11" directly under a bridge at the river spree (at the end of Albrechtstr.). Hard bouncer, however, not everybody gets in.

And if you done these two: Just go ahead to Oranienburger Stra脽e (about 500metres from your hotel), there is one bar after another. Some good ones over there: Cafe Zapata (with live concerts), another bar in the roof of the same building, Aufsturz (with over 100 beers), Bellini Lounge (Best cocktails), Ambulance Bar (with good electro DJs weekends), 1A Lauschgift, Lining (corner Auguststr./Tucholskystr; good DJs, bed-like sofas), Fire Bar (a bit hidden in Krausnickstr. many sofas, cheap drinks).

The one euro bar. :)
