Beef Stock Cubes in Bahrain? |
Maybe my imagination, but i can't find a beef stock cube in Bahrain lately. Is it banned? I desperately need beef stock cubes. I've tried looking in hypermarkets, supermarkets, cold stores but unable to find one that sells beef stock, only varieties of chicken stock. If not the cubes, where can i find beef stock in can? It's not banned and nor is it in short supply. Search any grocery store that caters mainly to Filipinos and you'll find the Knorr brand in ample supply. There are some such shops in the Bab Al Bahrain region. I'm new in Bahrain with no Filipino friends as yet. Any particular store you know in Manama or Muharraq? Report It As I've the same problems some times here in Kuwait, I always take a Maggi Consomme soup pack if beef stock is not available. Or buy beef with on bone, boil with plenty of fresh vegetables in little water, added if needed, until the meat and vegetables are cooked to a pulp. Take the bone away. add some salt, pepper and any spice you wish. You can use this broth for any beef or sauce dish. The rest you can keep either frozen or in the fridge. |
