Visa for Indian citizen who is green card holder in the US?

I wish to visit Bahrain for 3 days/2 nights on my way to India for vacation. I am not a US citizen at the moment but my wife is. To apply at the Bahrain consulate in the US (http://www.un.int/bahrain/consulate.html... I need to have a NOC(No Objection Certificate). As a visitor how do I get an NOC when I have no local contacts in Bahrain? Please advise?

P.S~ I am in the US and hold a green card.

Unfortunately you need a sponsor. Your wife will have no problem visiting Bahrain, but you need someone to issue you the NOC.
