Buy a Laptop from Canada or Bahrain?

Hi Folks,
I'll be moving to Bahrain next month from Canada. I need to buy a laptop and wondering if I should buy one from here Canada or buy it in Bahrain? Which is cheeper and quality wise? Thanks for your answers.

I recommend buying the Laptop in Bahrain. Sure it may be pricey, but it will be compatible with the Bahrain Electric System. If you buy it from Canada, you will need to buy a new charger, because Bahrain's Voltage System is different than Canada's. So if u buy it from Canada, or the internet, you will need to by an additional charger. Highly recommend, you just buy it from Bahrain. Trust me, im Arabic, and I lived in Bahrain for a year.

Laptops come with multiple chargers now. I bought mine and it had 3 different electric systems.

I expect laptops in Canada are a bit cheaper, and maybe newer. As it takes time for the new laptops to reach Bahrain, and therefore needs more time for the prices to go down.

If you buy from Canada and move to Bahrain, you need to check if the warranty is international.

If you need Arabic keys, buy from Bahrain.. or buy from Canada and go through the trouble of stickers.

Bottom Line:

If Canada is quite similar to the US laptop market + you don't need Arabic keys... buy from Canada. Cheaper price, newer laptops.

Don't forget to check:

- International Warranty
- Multiple Chargers (they usually come with them now).

I would recommend you buy one from Bahrain because it comes with ensurrance and extra stuff, I guess.

Buy it from Bahrain. There might be a difference in the price, but Bahrain sell excellent laptops too. The main reason for why I am telling you to buy it from Bahrain is that you will get a warranty which then you can benefit from once anything happens to it. And here in Bahrain, when you buy a PC or a laptop from a shop, you become their customer then you can buy all sorts of accessories or programs or do updates and stuff for cheaoper prices.

I'm staying in Bahrain and you can get latest laptops here and of good quality. If you're buying from Canada you should make sure your laptop has international warranty and the power supply range is from 110-240V.

my advice to you will be to buy a Apple MAC-Book which has multi electrical voltage system, so you can use it around the world. & it will be better to buy ur laptop from Canada because in Bahrain laptops are still pricey when campared to U.S. & Canada.

+ you will have no problems because there's a
Apple Service Centre in Bahrain. & its better to get a laptop from Canada because some day u will return to canada. because the laptops in Bahrain will not work in Canada.

well im living here, n i say get it from here, i dunno about the prices in canada, but here is a tax free country, so its quite cheap!!
second of all ur garantee n everything will be here n very easy, no extra charges to get a waranty with the agency here, plus u might not find the agency that easily!
get it in bahrain!!
