How is working and living in Bahrain? are peopole happy? social life? interesting stuff to do? living expenses

People living in Bahrain are happy enough. Although it is getting a bit crowded but it still did not reach to a point where it is intolerable (like Dubai). It is just like any other country, you will get bored after a while, but that's the case anywhere. Social life is great, you can make loads of friends here because there are many people that are from all around the world. Also, Bahrain is a very small country where everyone knows almost everyone. Bahrain is getting more expensive, but in relation to Europe or Dubai, it is still cheap.

I have lived in Bahrain all my life, I would not want to live anywhere else.

its like every where in the world you have a good degree you get good job with good pay and you can find affordable apartments there, that of course depends on how much ur going to get paid and the people are just really simple and sweet, its a small place so the social life there is good there are a lot of interesting stuff there to do for example going to the Beach, jet skies and shopping a lot of things and about the living expenses food is not expensive there and the other expenses it like I said depends on ur salary.

Working in Bahrain is amazing, high salaries, very good packages.. u know, the job has it all ..
people are very happy .. specially expatriates..
social life is good, there are loadz of clubs, bars, social stuff to do ... u know!
there isnt much of entertainment, like the emirates..
parks are few, there is skating, bowling, museum, beaches, malls n lots of eating n drinkin places.. depends on what kinda person YOU r .. what r ur hobbies.. for me its quite boring coz im broke n like to have fun .. everything is with money here...
things r quite expensive but comparing to the wages its quite good ..

well its pretty small.. It can be a bit enclosing at times.. I mean you feel like you are in a small itsy bitsy place and no where to go. but if you have the good job and money to spend, you can make what you want of it... I live in Saudi just right across the causeway bridge to Bahrain and go there often to shop. But I certainly wouldnt want to live there. Id feel I need to leave too often.. I guess its with anyplace you live.. Bahrainis want to get away and come visit Saudi, or Dubai, and us Saudi's want to get away to visit Bahrain or Dubai.. we are never happy with what we have.. lol

ummm... its ok. (not much to do + the tourism is dull)
