I have been offered 300 bahrain dinar pm for job in bahrain. Is it ok considering living cost. I am single?

It depends how you want to live. BD 300 is a very low salary. As for accommodation, it is very expensive. Many single expats here in Bahrain live together in what we call a headquarters. It's a big house (with 6 to 9 rooms) and each person has his own room and share the bathrooms and the kitchen. If you can live this way it might cost you about BD 30 to BD 50 per month. As for transportation, there's public transportation which is very cheap, but not very reliable especially in this HOT weather. BUT still it all depends on what you seek. As for food, do not worry about that at all. Food is very cheap in Bahrain.

I don't know it depends on your lifestyle. My husband is currently stationed in Bahrain and I will be going there for the second time by the end of the month. I really enjoyed it there but I have to say some things are really expensive and if you want to live in a decent place you have to pay quite a bit money. You will need a car there, given that gas is pretty cheap there (costs about a dollar a gallon) you still have to look at expenses like car insurance. My husband paid about 350bd for a one bedroom apartment where the quality of living was just terrible so he moved into a villa which costs him about 600bd a month. You can rent a car there for about 80bd a month. The only cheap thing there is the food (excellent by the way) you get a huge plate for 2-3bd and trust me you will be taking home left over!!!
If I was you I would ask for more or for them to cover your rent!!!
