How do you make the curry sauce like the sauce they use on wursts here in Germany?

I love this sauce, but don麓t know the ingredients. If it麓s made with curry, why does it look red? Does it have paprika in it too?

I used to live in Germany. Now that I am in the States, this is how I get my Curry sauce/ Curry ketchup: I take regular ketchup and I mix in Curry and Allspice. I find that tastes pretty close to what you get at the Imbiss in Germany.
And also since you are in Germany you can go buy it in bottles. "Curry ketchup" You probably already know that?
And yes for the people that are in the States germandeli.com is an option to find German products.

They use ketchup as the base. Try mixing curry powder into ketchup.

just some good ketchup and lots of curry powder.....that's how you would do it at home.
You can also order it at Germandeli.com.
Here is the website with the right spice for you: http://www.germandeli.com/knfixfurcu.htm...

Curry is about as German as Ghandi. I suspect the original from where this heinous concoction came from used a boat load of paprika.

Altstadtweib is right. That's how we do it too.

It's essentially ketchup and curry powder, and some people add some paprika powder. But you can also buy what is called "Curry Ketchup", then you just need to sprinkle some curry powder on top. Here are some brands that do this:
