Has any one ever been to fasching?, if so can you tell me your experiences?

Fasching isn't THAT much fun. I think it was made for ugly people so they can have sex, because everyone goes with everyone when they're drunk... But especially for younger people, it isn't that much fun. I think you should be able to laugh all year around, not only one day on Fasching...

lots of drinking. very fun. kids get candy, its like halloween

Fasching is great! Everybody is dressed up as somebody or something. you could meet the funniest and craziest people. Everybody is out for a good night with lots of beer, liquor and fun. If you want to see it live go to cologne!!!! Thats da best place ever for fasching!!!!!

Fasching is not celebrated in Cologne!!! There it麓s called Karneval! It麓s a lot of fun, dressing up, drinking a lot and watching other people. Onlx something for the primitives.

Fasching is also called Fastnacht in the Rhein-Main Area. It麓s tons of fun with parades on Rosemonday, predominantly in Mainz, Cologne and D眉sseldorf.
There麓ll be an average of half a million people in the city of Mainz for that parade and tons of candy and other goodies will be tossed from the floats (watch out, all sorts of stuff from soccer balls to condoms have been thrown before.. lol).
Yes, there are alot of drunks but yes, it is fun! Sort of like Mardi Gras in the south. It麓s definitely an experience not to be missed if you happen to be in the area at that time.
