Can anyone offer any suggestions. You should have no problems accessing your Yahoo email account while in Germany. I am from Canada, and live in Germany and go on the Yahoo.ca main page, and click on log in, then get my email, and have no problems with the connection. If you have DSL in Germany, it will be quite quick to log on. You don't have to go to Yahoo.co.uk to get an english yahoo site. Just log onto any yahoo page, scroll to the bottom and you will see worldwide yahoo, and click on the country where you are from I don't see any problem with this as long as you have an internet connection, it does not matter where you are on this planet... I have accessed my account from US and many European countries with no problem. you can access your account from anywhere in the world without problems!!?? Maybe his connection is bad. I am in germany now and i have no problem accessing my account to get to mail. i have had problem sometimes with it switching me to german site and changing the language on me. being i dont speack any german thats kinda a bugger. but i just retype the addresse and get back to my page or i backspace and it clears up most times. I dont know maybe sometimes its a bug in the system or just or conection from over here but it doesnt last long and easy fix. tell your friend be patient and dont get fluttered it clears up fine. In some small towns (in many countries), access to www.yahoo.com is difficult. This could be due to the high traffic in that area, normally due to the high number of tourists in that small town in the middle of nowhere. No problem. You can lock into any Yahoo from anywhere. I lived in Germany for a long time and never had any problems accessing my yahoo account. Maybe your friend had a bad connection. I invite you to use these links I set-up for use by members of our travel discussion group while traveling. The direct link is below but you can get to it by clicking "Access Your Mail" on "TheTravelzine.com" web site: |
