Checking back at known addresses and friends would be your best bet. City death records are kept private; have to have familial authorization to access. Then there are pay sites - iffy. Look in the Austin American Statesman online in the obits. See where her funeral took place and call them. They usually have an online memory book that the family can read. Leave a message for a family member to contact you. Hope this helps. Obituaries normally don't say how one died. The family is the one that write them up so if they chose to leave that information out it won't be in there. Funeral homes will not release that information. Your best bet is a family member or close friend of the family. |
