Is there a daily/hourly ferry that goes from Slovenia to Venice, Italy? |
I will be in Slovenia next month and would like to visit Venice, Italy at my own leisure and I'd like to take a ferry across. The only one I can find is the Prince of Venice catamaran and it seems to be only for day excursions. I'm wondering if there is another way across that would allow me to come and go at my leisure. Another option is that I drive to Venice (I will have a car rental in Slovenia) but I heard its easier to take a boat. Please help! I leave in three weeks! Hey. The easiest way is to just go by car. The prince of venice has limited times when it's going and stuff, so it's best to go by car. from ljubljana, there's a highway to venice, the only place where it breaks is by the border and it will take you about 2 hours, maybe. when you get to ljubljana or any other city, they'll give you a map and directions. Hey. You need your international driver's licence, get it at the AAA. with this you rent the car and that's all you need.take care, and enjoy slovenia Report It If you need any other info, you can send me a mail to sand_jaksic@yahoo.com. i live in ljubljana, slovenia, so feel free to ask:) Report It well, I am not really sure, but I never heard of any other way to go from Slovenia to Venice (by sea) other then the Prince of Venice. Maybe just because it is the only one advertised. There's a service between Venice and Pirano, in Slovenia... |
