S.Catherine of Siena?

Has anyone of the Readers been to Siena, Italy ? Experiences ? Accomodation and gastronomy proposals ?

Siena is beautiful. I cannot give hints on accomodation because I always took day trips there. In any case, I know there are excellent B&B in the proximities. As for gastronomy, you MUST try the PANFORTE. It is a kind of hard fruitcake, spicy and WONDERFUL, typical of Siena.

Siena has excellent gelato! It's located near the entrance into the main piazza from the bus station.
