Can you take tampons on the airplane?

So im going on a plane for the first time on spring break but im going with a group so i dont want to be embrassed if they search my stuff and out falls the tampon. So can you take tampons on the airplane

Put a few of them in your purse and your purse will go through the xray machine. Unless something really strange shows up that looks very suspicious, NO ONE will need to do a search of your bag. The rest of them pack in your checked bags.

What is so embarrassing about tampons? You think GUYS worry about being found with condoms? They'd probably VOLUNTARILY pull them out for a search.

Security people are actually generally pretty sensitive to stuff like that (things which people can be sensitive about) so tend not to pull out personal items such as tampons or underwear.

Yes you can take tampons. The only limit is on carry-on items. Remember 3-1-1 you can only carry-on 3 oz. items or less, it all has to be in a one quart plastic bag and each passenger is allowed one. Remember nothing sharp that can harm someone.
