Bringing dog on plane? |
My parents are sending my dog up to me in a plane. I think he will be on a northwest flight, as that is the only plane that flies in the airport where he will be flown into. The plane is one of those tiny planes... Will they be able to put him in the cargo of such a tiny plane (its a connecting flight from a larger plane to a smaller one) G Dogg says it perfectly. Back in my commercial flying days, I had a Navajo with a cargo door and I could fly anything that would fit through that door, including a big marine catapillar diesel engine. Yes there is enough room in a regional jet to fit your pup. You definetly want to check with the air carrier because there are some regional aircraft that dont not provided oxygen flow to the cargo bin (CRJ 200). If you book on one of these aircraft that dont not have oxygen the airline will denie you and you pet boarding. |
