Australians. If you were me and had a two week holiday in June.?

Where would you go?
Staying in Australia not being an option.

I know two weeks isn't long, I am going on a bigger trip next year. So, yes... cheap is good.

take an Asian tour in eiteher Thailand or Veitnam.

Asia is very cheap...except Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan...

my mum did a weeks tour of Bangkok and norhtern Thailand last year then had 8 nights in Phuket...she LOVED it and this year is going to Vietnam.

totally different culture, many people do it but its good.

Since it's only 2 weeks then probably Thailand - Bangkok for a few days and then off to somewhere like Phuket. Why? It's not too far by plane and it's cheap. However if that's too far, then Bali.

Well if you only have the timespan of two weeks, and not any longer try going to the close countries such as Fiji, Bali, etc.

You can have a good relaxing time there.

Although if I would recommend saving up money and holidays for a big trip to Europe/Uk.

Singapore. Visit the Jurong Bird Park.

Hawaii is beautiful and only 9 hours from Sydney. The US$ is about 0.90c to A$1 at the moment, so its much cheaper than it used to be for us. You could spend 1 week in Honolulu, then the second week visiting one or two of the other islands. Kauai is magnificent (where Raiders of the Lost Arc and Jurassic Park were filmed), and the volconoes on the Big Island (Hawaii) are very cool. Lastly, June is summer up there, so you'd be escaping the Aussie winter.
